They right now have about an average age of 40, but also being able to really have those heart to heart conversations in terms of the challenges that it brings to young people.ĭR ANAE NERU LEAVASA: Going to the Human Rights Museum, that was very touching. NAISI CHEN: It was great to meet some of the cabinet ministers from Chile. IAN MCKELVIE: I think if you look at our treaty settlement process, certainly the Chilean government is looking at that type of situation in their own country. RICARDO MENĒNDEZ MARCH: We also had the opportunity to make connections with the Mapuche people, there was strong interest in the revitalisation of indigenous languages. And we both understood each other, which I thought was really nice. RT HON ADRIAN RURAWHE: They spoke Rapa Nui to me and I spoke Te Reo Māori to them.
